It’s difficult to know what to do when something goes unexpectedly wrong in the property you rent. What actually is an emergency? who should you call? What should you do? To assist you to take the right course of action as quickly as possible, we have below a guide to follow:

If after looking through this you feel your issue is an emergency then you will need to initially try one of our emergency contractors whos details are below:
If they re not available then you will need to call out your own contractor. When calling please ensure that the contractor you instruct is suitably qualified to undertake the work needed. For example anyone who carries out work on a Gas appliance needs to be on the Gas Safe Register, if it is electrical work they need to be NICEIC qualified.
Please be aware that you will need to pay the contractor for the work they carry out. Ensure you keep an invoice showing the work carried out as well as a receipt showing that you have paid, this you will need to pass us when we return. If the work is deemed an emergency this cost will be refunded however please be aware that if you have had works done that would not be deemed an emergency, then you may end up liable for the cost.
